The ear loop just pulls the headset further away from my head making it uncomfortable. I've tried with every on of the ear buds and still no go. I would recommend that you try this thing on somewhere before you buy it. I bought this to replace my aging Samsung WEP200 thinking, with all the good reviews, that it must be a great headset. The sound quality is ok, however it does not fit me at all. Not to mention that this thing is much larger than my Samsung which is 2 years older.
I just can't get it to work. This is supposed to be one of the great new features of 3.0 - the ability to play music or podcasts on a Bluetooth device. I'm so tired of earphone cords all over the place. I really like this headset - comfy, great sound in receiving and sending, ok design, good battery life. However, I can't get it to play music from my iPhone 3G 3.0. So frustrating.
Overall, I am pleased with the product. I found it more secure to use the ear loop stabilizer and that also helps with the volume coming through the earpiece. This product is easy to learn to use. It takes practice to learn how hard to press the button for the different things it will do. It is disappointing that the battery cannot be replaced when it wears out requiring another purchase but apparently other bluetooth headsets are the same.
Also, the mic boom would intermittently answer and end calls. Finally, although the buttons worked, they were inconvenient to use. This is very inconvenient for conversations, etc.The second problem is that many of my friends had problems hearing me. After two weeks, I returned this product for a full refund.I purchased the Plantronics 925 instead, and it met my expectations for this manufacturer. Unfortunately, this model does not live up to its claims.First, the earpiece on this device actually plugs your ear. It's worth every penny. The telescoping mic boom was not effective either.
I would discourage everyone from purchasing the 815 and pay a little more for the 925. I purchased the Plantronics Voyager 815 based on other reviews I had read plus the brand name of Plantronics. The result of that is your ear is vacuum sealed and you cannot hear others from that side of your head. It was bothersome to answer and end phone calls with this device.
works very well, anywhere the phone itself would work. my first bluetooth headset so i don't have much to compare it to.
